Rick Nicita to Join Morgan Creek as Co-Chairman

Rick Nicita, co-chairman and managing partner of Creative Artists Agency, will be leaving CAA and joining forces with Morgan Creek Productions. Nicita is joining James Robinson, founder and chairman of Morgan Creek. They will co-chair the company together.
Robinson will continue on as the CEO, while Nicita will serve as COO. Nicita will start at his new position on August 15th.
Morgan Creek is known for making mainstream movies. They expect to green-light 3 to 4 pics a year and distribute through their exclusive deal with Universal Pictures.
