2:22 Has 3 Premieres in 3 Weeks
(released 10/7/2009)

3 premieres in less than 3 weeks.

That's what Steven Shea and Tim Anderson have gotten with their short film 2:22. They shot the short in 3 days back in June. We were on set June 28th when they were shooting the club scene inside Independent Bar in downtown Orlando.

Tim, the producer, mentioned that their goal was to find a short film that they could produce and edit in time for the fall festival circuit. Steven, the writer and director, happened to have a short horror film that he had written years prior sitting on the shelf. That's basically how 2:22 came to fruition.

Along with Anderson and Shea, the film was DPed by Jose Cassella and the cast was led by Tara Lightfoot.

About the premieres, the World Premiere of 2:22 took place in Spain at the 42nd Annual Sitges International Fantastic Film Festival of Catalonia. As explained to me by Tim and Steven, this is the number one fantasy film festival in the world.

Just last week, Steven receieved news that 2:22 screened along with Grace to a sold out crowd of 1500 people at Sitges.

The next premiere will be at 4:00PM this Saturday, October 10th in Orlando. 2:22's East Coast and Orlando Premiere is the Freak Show Horror Film Festival taking place at Wyndham Orlando Resort on I-Drive. Convention tickets are available at www.spookyempire.com.

The third premiere for 2:22 is the official North American and West Coast Premiere at Screamfest Horror Film Festival which will be held at Grauman's Chinese Theater in Hollywood. 2:22 will play at Screamfest LA on Saturday, October 17th during a short program at 2:30pm. About the film

2:22 is the terrifying story of Vickie Palmer who, after an incredible night out with her girlfriends, is wrenched from her peaceful slumber and cast mercilessly into a world spinning out of control. Writhing half naked on the cold porcelain tile of her bathroom floor, Vickie desperately tries to piece together the tragic turn of events that has twisted her once carefree life into a nightmare of pain and suffering. But when she discovers the truth, will it be too late to save her from eternal damnation?

We have photos from our day on set in the PhotoSeen. Check out more about the film at www.222short.com. Here's the trailer.
