AccessIT Announces Next Phase of Digital Rollout

Access Integrated Technologies announced today that they have commitments from Walt Disney, Twentieth Century Fox, Paramount, and Universal to pay what is being called virtual print fees for a limited time. An exact time frame has not been given.
The virtual print fee helps offset the cost of rolling out more digital cinema projection systems.
Currently, AccessIT has rolled out or in contract to install 3,700 systems nationwide. With this announcement, they plan to add an additional 10,000 digital screens in the US and Canada over the next three years in what they are officially calling their "Phase Two" of their Digital Cinema Program.
